NuSet Builder Special: Passage Knob (Brass)

Entry
Generally used for exterior applications. It is operated with a key from the exterior of the home and a push botton or turn knob from the interior.

Privacy
Generally used on bathroom or bedroom door. It provides a push botton or turn knob on the inside and comes with an emergency release on the outside that allows the door to be unlocked by inserting an emergency release tool.

Passage
Generally used on closets or other rooms that do not require locking.

Storageroom
Generally used on storage room that the outside knob is fixed and entrance by key only. The knob will lock itself everytime the door is closed and cannot be left unlocked. The inside knob always remain unlocked providing emergency exit.

Dummy
Does not operate and is often used as a door pull or for aesthetic purposes only.

To determine the handing, view the door from the exterior side and locate the hinges. If the hinges are on the left, you will need a left-handed lever. If the hinges are on the right, you will need a right-handed lever.

The width of the knob handle.

The measurement from the edge of the door to the center of the pre-drilled hole.

Automatic adjustment to door thickness within the ranges specified.

A hole drilled into the face of a door where a bored or interconnected lockset is to be installed.

The hole bored through the edge of a door to allow the latch to pass through, into the strike.
